Fixing r6025 runtime error

Many people will experience the r6025 runtime error when using a computer because this error is so common. It only affects windows based computers and basically means that an application you are attempting to run is now corrupted. There are a few steps involved in fixing this problem.

  1. Start by closing the application. If you find that the application won’t close because it has locked up then you need to force it to close using the task manager. To load task manager click start, run and then type in taskmgr
  2. Click “Processes” at the top of the window along the tabs at the top of the window
  3. Study the list and find the program which is causing the problem
  4. Right click on the application causing the problem and then click on “End Process Tree”

Once you have closed the application down you can then use add remove programs to completely remove the file from your computer. Once this has been done clean up all trades by using clean manager. To load clean manager:

  1. Click on Start and then type “Cleanmgr”
  2. Click on the program found by the start menu search box
  3. When the application loads click on “Files from all Users”
  4. Allow the program to clean your computer
  5. Once this has finished you should then restart your computer

If you want to continue using the application again then you can try installing it again and checking it doesn’t cause the same problems.
